Alerting the Media has been operating in South Africa since February 2006.

As the driving force behind this dynamic SME, Claire is able to channel her passion for communication and publicity and devote all her energy to growing the business as well as nurturing relationships with clients and media contacts.

With over 14 years of experience, Claire has worked as a producer, scriptwriter and director in the television industry, and then spent 5 years heading up the publicity department at Ster-Kinekor Distribution before she took the giant leap and started out on her own.

Claire is an energetic publicist who values honesty, integrity and professionalism. She is also passionate about nurturing and growing young people wishing to enter the industry and  lectures Public Relations 2, 3 and Media Planning at Boston Media House in Sandton.

Her many years in the industry now allow her to offer mentorship programmes to young professionals in the industry.

Alerting the Media also uses several young writers, copywriters and freelancers to add creativity and energy to their offering, many of whom are PR graduates that have trained under Claire at Boston Media House.
