The fight against abuse gets a helping hand of R400 000 From Jacaranda FM’s Sisters with Blisters walk
22 November 2014, Saturday, Montecasino – R400 000 was raised by Jacaranda FM and its listeners at the Sisters with Blisters event, to help women and children affected by abuse and violence. Over 5000 men, women and children and pets took to the streets in Fourways for the 5km fundraising walk to raise awareness of the plight of women and children in solidarity with the 16 Days of Activism campaign.
